ANNOUNCEMENTS

Hello Classmates,
I am so sorry but I am having to cancel our ranch roundup that was going to be held this July 26-28. I have had some unexpected health issues arrive that I am going to have to deal with and I will not be able to get matters prepared for our get together. I am so sorry if I have caused anyone a problem due to scheduling. Please accept my most sincere apologies. I don't know if I will be able to reschedule at a later date.
Eddy

Hello my great classmates and families,
We are hoping to see you at our ranch roundup (get together) beginning July 26th and going through July 28th. I know it may be hot...but it may be rainy as well... who knows with OK weather.. Anyway, we are looking forward to having everyone come and bring their grands... there will be horses to ride, skunks to run from, chiggers and ticks to take back home with you, llamas to sneak up on, stars to watch like you can't believe, possums, raccoons, coyotes, and deer. Oh yeah, bring your deet for mosquitoes. Please bring your lawn chairs for something to sit on. Remember, this is a ranch and has stuff you need to watch out for and not step in. We will be furnishing drinks and food for meals, but if you want to bring your own stuff feel easy to do it.
You are welcome to car camp, truck camp, tent camp, RV, whatever. While we do have potable water, there is no electric hookups....you are welcome to camp wherever you want, just be aware that I trapped 50 wild hogs off the place last year. so it might be smart to stay with a group together. There are 4 small stock ponds to fish if you want to do that. If you want to stay in a motel, I think the best one would be in Ada at the Hampton Inn. There is also a Holiday Inn Express and LaQuinta....and others.
I am not going to try and sell you anything, or buy into anything....and my horses are not for sale. We just are extending an invitation to all of you to come and spend some time in the frontier country. I will be showing the kids how to work some horses and let them be around them. You will be in the middle of a 46 horse herd, paints and quarter horses, from 5 years up to late 20's. And there is one donkey...Curley Joe.
Our ranch is in south central Oklahoma about 20 miles southeast of Ada outside the rural town of Stonewall.
Please RSVP if you are planning on coming and tell me the number in your party and when you plan on arriving and plan on leaving so that I may have enough food and beverages.
Sue and I want to share our place with you and your families. God has blessed us very generously and graciously and we want to share with you. Even if we were not close in high school I sincerely hope that you can come. It is my loss for not knowing you better back then and I hope to know you better. You have a great past, and many stories you can share with all of us. Don't forget the sunscreen, and hats.
My email is epid@tds.net. Please put "ranch roundup" in the subject. I will need your email address to send you instructions if you are planning on attending. My cell phone is 405-823-2926....please text on that...otherwise leave a voicemail....since I will not recognize the number and not answer.
